How does the domain transfer actually work after I pay?
Once your payment is confirmed, we initiate the domain transfer to your registrar account within 1-3 business days. You'll get transfer instructions at the email you provide, and the sale isn't considered complete until you've confirmed you've received the domain.
Is my payment secure?
Yes. Payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment processor used by millions of businesses. Dommmain never sees or stores your card details.
Can I negotiate instead of paying the listed price?
Yes - every domain page has a Make an Offer option. Send your offer with a short message and we'll respond by email; most listed domains are open to reasonable offers.
How are your domains sourced and scored?
Domains are sourced from expired-domain listings, then automatically scored on Wayback Machine history, keyword and brandability signals, and a trademark-conflict search, followed by a manual review before anything goes up for sale.
Can you guarantee a domain doesn't infringe on someone's trademark?
No. Our trademark check is a heuristic search, not a legal opinion - we flag anything that looks risky and price it accordingly, but you're responsible for your own legal due diligence before buying, especially if you plan to build a brand around the name.
What if the transfer doesn't happen?
If we're unable to complete the transfer within the stated timeframe, you get a full refund - see our Terms of Sale for the exact policy.
Do you offer refunds after the domain has transferred?
Domain transfers are effectively irreversible once complete, so we don't offer refunds after a successful transfer. Refunds apply if we fail to deliver as described within the stated timeframe - see Terms of Sale.
Why do some domains have Wayback Machine history and others don't?
Wayback history reflects whether a domain had a live website in the past. A newer or previously-unused domain simply won't have any snapshots - that's not a red flag on its own, just less historical evidence either way.
How is the price decided?
Each domain gets a suggested price range from a formula weighing length, brandability, keyword relevance, and historical usage evidence, calibrated against real domain-resale data. The listed price is set within that range.
